Authorized Legal Entity Services

The Authorized Legal Entity (Yetkilendirilmiş Tüzel Kişilik, YTK) is a structure defined within the framework of Turkey's Mining Law No. 3213 and the related Mining Regulation, including the provisions governing authorized legal entities. A YTK is a legal entity holding a competency certificate (yeterlik belgesi) that authorizes it to prepare the reports, projects and technical documents that license holders must submit to the General Directorate of Mining and Petroleum Affairs (MAPEG). Since 1 January 2017, all technical documents relating to mining licenses must be prepared and submitted by authorized legal entities. The YTK therefore serves as a critical technical bridge for the legal continuity of mining activities.
